Missed Shot

A builder and a priest are out for a game of golf one afternoon. Unfortunately the builder wasn't very good at the game and every time he missed a shot would shout 'Sh*t, missed'.

The game went on and after several outbursts from the builder; the priest could hold his tongue no longer. "Don't swear like that" he told his friend, "or God will punish you". The builder apologized and the game continued.

Political Correctness

Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Misunderstanding...

Some time ago Mr. Clinton was hosting a state dinner when at the last minute his regular cook took ill and they had to get a replacement at short notice. The fellow arrived and turned out to be a very grubby looking man named Jon. The President voiced his concerns to his chief of staff but was told that this was the best they could do at such short notice.

Still be upright at the end of 2008, and to have more fun boating than I did this year. I'm not sure the last one is possible though.

The Barber

A man was getting a haircut prior to a trip to Rome. He mentioned the trip to the barber who responded, "Rome? Why would anyone want to go there? It's crowded, dirty and full of Italians. You're crazy to go to Rome. So, how are you getting there?"

"We're taking TWA," was the reply. "We got a great rate!"

Happy Birthday Roger

Roger of Idaho Daily Photo is having a birthday today. He's a special friend and I just want to say, I love you Roger and have a great BIRTHDAY!

He would love it if you would drop by and say Happy Birthday as well. Here's his Happy Birthday post. It's very humerous too, just like Roger...

Merry Christmas

A Christian holiday honoring the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas evolved over two millennia into a worldwide religious and secular celebration, incorporating many pre-Christian, pagan traditions into the festivities along the way. Today, Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together and exchange gifts.  Source: History

Fruitcake...

Things You Probably Didn’t Know You Could Do With A Fruitcake

Paint a few white and place them outside on the grass so people won’t park on your lawn.

Use it as building material. (This is actually what the Ancient Egyptians used to build the Great Pyramids.)

You Gotta Be Shi**** Me!

Have you ever wondered where the phrase "You Gotta Be Shittin' Me" came from? Well, it just so happens to have originated through the Father of Our Country way back when, George Washington was crossing the Delaware River with his troops.

The Nativity Scene...

In a small southern town there was a Nativity Scene" that showed great skill and talent had gone into creating it. One small feature bothered me.

The three wise men were wearing firemen's helmets.

Thursday Thirteen

The Thursday 13 is a weekly meme with a simple theme: each Thursday you blog a list of 13 things. What kind of things? Any kind! Just come up with a list theme and run with it. One week you may list “13 things on my mind” and maybe the next week you’d list “my top 13 favorite movies”.  Back in early 2007, Janet came up with the idea of going through the alphabet;  “13 Things I Love that begin with the letter A”, etc.  That gives you 26 weeks of ideas! Each new 13 will be posted at approximately 8PM EST every Wednesday evening.

A Woman's Fantasy...

In a recent On-line poll 38,562 men across the UK were asked to identify a woman's ultimate fantasy. 98.8% of the respondents said that a woman's ultimate fantasy is to have two men at once.

While this has been verified by a recent sociological study, it appears that most men do not realize that in this fantasy, one man is cooking and the other is cleaning.

Flight Attendant

My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.

As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us that "Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super."

The Novel Meme

This novel meme is extremely long and if you can't make it through more than 5 or 10 questions I don't mind. I had trouble with it too. I'll be darned if I'm tagging anyone with it so let this stolen tidbit die right here. If you want to steal it help yourself, but I'll bet there won't be any takers. On with the stupidity...

HaloScan Comments

Blogger doesn't play nice with other formats in the comment department. I've heard more than once that having to fill out so much information is not very nice just to leave a comment. It should be done easily, and I agree with that. I do a lot of memes and some folks make it very difficult to play along. So, I so understand.

The Hunter

A man goes deer hunting and successfully fills his freezer with venison.

One night he cooks some up for dinner. Both he and his wife decide that they won't tell the kids what kind of meat it is.

Blogs Gone Wild!

How do you like my new look? I simply love it. Ever since Linda of Are We There Yet? redid her blog, I've been wanting to do the same. You must admit I had some color going on. That was okay for a while, but it did get old.

Seven Random Facts

Rhonda of I'm Running To Win Two tagged me with the Seven Random and/or Weird Facts about myself. Well, those of you who know me, could answer these in pretty short order. Thanks for thinking of me Rhonda. On with the show.

Here are the rules:

Flavor of the Month

Serena of ChatnChill tagged me with the Flavor of the Month meme. Thanks for thinking of me Serena. Okay here are the rules:

Mention the person who tagged you and create a link back to them.

Organ Thieves

You've heard about people who have been abducted and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves. Well, this kind of cruel theft is happening with other body parts as well!

My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else's thighs. It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine?

A Special Poem...

While making my rounds this afternoon, I stopped at one of my favorite places, Lynda's Loft. Lyn has a way of making love poems that reflect the great love Zane and I have together. Somehow she just knows how our love is and seems to be writing to or about me/us many times. Well, today she has done a special poem for me called; Merry Christmas Sandee (you thinking of hubby)~~~

The Journey of Man

When I was 14, I hoped that one day I would have a girlfriend.

When I was 16 I got a girlfriend, but there was no passion, so I decided I needed a passionate girl with a zest for life.

Give Me Five

Todays Mission: Give Me Five things you like and/or dislike about Christmas trees (putting them up or fond memories, favorite ornaments or tree toppers, etc.)

1. Their beauty. What is prettier that a well-lit, decorated Chrismas tree? Nothing in my view. The feeling that you get while looking at such a magical tree. Santa has to be in there somewhere.
